5th Grade Teacher - Tara Dennis

 Tara Dennis lives in Chauncey and is a member of New Union Baptist Church. She is a 1987 graduate of Dodge County High School. She received her Associates degree from Middle Georgia State University, her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Specialist degrees in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and has thirty three years of teaching experience. She taught at Dooly County Middle School her first year of teaching, transferred to Telfair County Middle School where she taught for ten years and was the Telfair County Teacher of the Year in 2000. Tara began teaching at Dodge County Middle School in 2001 and taught there for twenty-two years. She and her husband Randy have two children Nathan and Brooke. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Tara is passionate about teaching and the blessings that God has bestowed throughout her life. She is excited to meet her students in August and see where God leads.
